This is a painting by G D Paulraj of two ladies carrying water up a street with some more in the background.

I only have a small image but it looks like a nice painting.  I had thought I had added this one before but I could not trace it on the blog.

G D Paulraj - Golden Tree

This is a very nice watercolour by G D Paulraj of a street scene and a beautiful 'Golden Tree' anyone know what kind of tree it is?
I am told that the tree is called "Cassia Fistula" or also known as the Indian Laburnum.

The painting is becoming one of my favourites.  This was for sale on Ebay recently and sold nearly straight away for around £150.00 a very reasonable price for such a good painting.

G D Arulraj - Two Women carrying baskets

This is a painting by G D Arulraj of two young women waking down a road carrying wicker baskets.  It has nice bright colours and the usual large tree in the foreground.

G D Paulraj - Shrine under the big tree

This is a nice painting of a shrine under a Banyan tree by G D Paulraj, in the background you can see some people working in the fields.

It is owned by the same lady as the last Paul raj I posted, she went to school in Kodaikanal many years ago and her parents purchased the painting then.

G D Paulraj - Carts and Hills

This is a painting recently added to the "Raj" Facebook site by a lady that went to school in Kodaikanal which is the original home of Paulraj.  So the painting has the usual cart convoy but what is different is that it has hills in the background.  It looks a very nice painting.

The cattle have been very well painted, hope you like this one.

G D Arulraj - Classic Road Scene

This is a painting by Arulraj that still remains with his family.  I think it is a pretty good painting and his cows are really great.

Pretty good painting, it is still growing on me.

G D Pankajam Paulraj - Greeting Card 2

This is a second greeting card painted by Paulraj's wife Pankajam, It is about 6 x 4 inches I understand.
